Thoughts about Jiu-Jitsu and the Universe

April Fools Day is the perfect day to write about fools:

If you’re an MMA fighter and you never evolve or try to evolve your skills (i.e. Mark Coleman, Ken Shamrock)—you’re a fool.
If you train jiu-jitsu and never learn to relax and use technique—you’re a fool.
If you talk shit—you’re a fool.
If you think you’re too tough to tap—you’re a fool (and probably have jacked up joints)
If you think your tae kwon-do-black belt is enough to fight MMA—you’re a fool
If you think you look good in Speedo fight shorts—you’re a fool
If you get a shitty tattoo of a sword that looks like it’s sticking in your throat—you’re a fool.
If you’re constantly hurting your training partners-you’re a fool (and a dick)
If you think jiu-jitsu came from somewhere other than Japan and then Brazil—you’re a fool
If you think Royce has a chance against GSP—you’re a fool (I’m rooting for Royce, but I’m no fool)
If you think an arm-in guillotine doesn’t work–you’re a fool
If you think learning and using leg locks is below you—you’re a fool
If you think your Affliction shirt looks good—you’re a fool

If you boo when an MMA fight hits the ground-you’re a fool.

    That’s a good one.
