Balls

The difference between dreams and reality is a set of balls (metaphorical balls of course. I know plenty of women with a huge set of figurative balls). You have to have balls to turn your dreams into something real; you cannot be a wuss.

I played division-one football with a guy named Joe Jacobs. Big Dude, 6’3’’ 280lbs.– looked like a muscular refrigerator with legs. He played next to me on the d-line, a good guy with a little mean streak, perfect for football.

Joe liked to do all sorts of things other than football, and one of those things was going swimming at the dam (he insisted on wearing Speedo trunks, scary sight on any man). There is a place to dive at the dam and on this particular day a small group of both guys and girls were hurling themselves off a short precipice for fun, one of those people was Joe. Joe climbs his muscled body up the rock face, while a petite college student dives from the rocks above him. It’s Joes turn, but something horrible happens—Joe freezes.

He’s afraid. He’s heckled by the girl below who has just jumped. “Come on big boy, jump!” she belts out from the water below. “Don’t be a pussy!” she shouts. Joe frozen and embarrassed yells back “Shut up, at least my tits are bigger than yours!” Joe hollers down at the young, college coed. And her reply to him was, “You might have bigger tits, but I’ve got bigger BALLS!”

Joe Jumped.

I think he jumped hoping to land on his heckler and end the surrounding laughter, but whatever the reason, he jumped.

I have a dream of starting a jiu-jitsu company called Tap or Die and no one needs to heckle me–with my balls in my hand, I’m jumping.
