Some people dislike BJ Penn. I like the guy–always have. I like the fact that sometimes he fights out-of-shape, it makes him human. It makes him lose fights too, but that’s part of his appeal. When you can walk into a judo competiton at 19 years old and demolish every black belt in your division (and you’re a white belt in jiu-jitsu) you deserve my respect.

BJ fights Ken-Flo tonight, I like Kenny Florian, but BJ’s the Prodigy.
