Thoughts about Jiu-Jitsu and the Universe

My marketing lady, Niki, has suggested I update the logo for my school. I must admit it isn’t the greatest logo, but it has become the symbol of West Side; nevertheless, it’s time for it to go. A friend of mine, Brent Atwood, the owner of The Pharaoh’s Horses Tattoo Parlor, has agreed to draw up a new one. I am lamenting the future demise of the old logo.

I guess what I’ll do is keep it around as “classic” West Side memorabilia. Then I can come out with a retro-shirt with the original logo; that will be alright.

Stay tuned for some sample art and more info about Brent Atwood and his new tattoo shop, The Pharaoh’s Horses.

I will miss the old logo, but I’m excited and anxious to see something new, fresh, and distinctly West Side.
