Thoughts about Jiu-Jitsu and the Universe

IMG_0662Yesterday I trained forty times for my 40th birthday, it was great. For the most part I was the oldest person, but there were a few older than me. One of those guys was 62 year old Steve “Captain Midnight” Groves, a tough old bird who can kill you with a credit card. He claims to be a mercenary, I guess it’s possible.

The point is, at sixty-two Steve is very active, he lifts, runs, and does yoga, as well as trains, and he has just proposed to his girlfriend.

Pretty cool for sixty-two, I hope to be thriving long past sixty two, and on my 80th I’ll train with eighty.
