West Side Classic Poster and Sponsors

Yes, the West Side poster is finally finished, thanks to Niki. We had a meeting today about sponsors and we put together a sponsor kit. One of the things a sponsor kit contains are levels of contribution, you know, how much money a company wants to contribute to the event.
I’m the first to admit that I don’t know a ton when it comes to sponsoring an event or how much is typically spent on sponsorships. I’ll tell you this much, it’s more than I would have guessed. Here are the levels:
Sponsorship Levels:
Bronze- $100 company name on competition T-shirt
Silver- $250 company name and logo on competition T-shirt, and company name on website
Gold- $500 company name and logo on competition T-shirt, company name on website, banner and
flyers
Platinum- $2,000 company name and logo on competition T-shirt, company name on website, banner
flyers, company noted as a major sponsor as well as having a table at the event.
According to Niki this is typical, except for the $100; she says that $100 is pretty low for sponsoring an event. I’ll start calling people tomorrow about sponsorships, it should be interesting, I have no shame in my game though, the Classic is well worth it.
