Thoughts about Jiu-Jitsu and the Universe

Ryan Echols is an instructor at West Side, he and I were talking about getting someone to come out and do a seminar at the school; we threw a few names around, names of people we could get, but then I started dreaming as I often do. I thought to myself, “If I could get anyone in the world to do a seminar at West Side who would be my top three?”

Easy:

1. Rickson Gracie
2. BJ Penn
3. Roger Gracie

Those would be my three, in that order. I thought for a minute about Fedor, but I’m a jiu-jitsu man. Of course I thought of Professor Sauer, but that goes without saying. I think those three would be the ones I’d most like to see.

Who would be yours? If you could have any three people in the world do a seminar at your gym, who would they be?

    1. Walt Bayless (Corey thinks he’s somewhat decent…)
    2. Demian Maia (I hear he is great at explaining subtle nuances most don’t pick up on)
    3. Al Bundy (Ed O’Neil: Dude’s a black belt. Be fun learning shit from a dude that scored 4 touchdowns in one game.)
